Approaches
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)
to help you identify and change problematic thought patterns and behaviors so that you can improve your mood and quality of life. CBT is especially effective for treating anxiety, depression and psychosis. I’ve also completed training in Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy for Schizophrenia at the Beck Institute.
PSYCHODYNAMIC THERAPY
to help you become aware of the way unconscious feelings influence your current mood and behaviors. Psychodynamic therapy can help you gain a better understanding of your full emotional experience and valuable insight so that you can have lasting changes in your life. This approach is helpful for treating a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, personality disorders and relationship issues.
INTERPERSONAL THERAPY
to help you uncover and change behavioral patterns so that you can have healthier relationships and greater connection with others. This approach is helpful for anyone that struggles with establishing and sustaining healthy, satisfying relationships.
DIALECTICAL BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (DBT)
to help you learn coping skills to manage intense emotions, effectively communicate, improve relationships, and become more in touch with the present moment. DBT is helpful for treating a variety of issues including intense emotions, depression, and personality disorders
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing
to help you process past traumas and diminish the intense emotions and experiences resulting
from trauma.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
50 minute therapy sessions held in my office where we work together to address and treat the issues that brought you to therapy. I also provide therapy via video call for those who aren’t able to make it into the office each time for sessions.

THERAPEUTIC COACHING
Personalized, in-home visits to help clients increase independence and maintain wellness. Treatment is tailored to meet the needs of each client. Areas of focus may include: establishing and maintaining daily structure, completing daily tasks, medication management, and independent living skills.

FAMILY CONSULTATIONS
Sessions focusing on helping family members navigate the communication, care and treatment options for loved ones with mental illness.
